When she’s in a good mood and sitting and relaxed, talk to her about the reward she would get for being patient with her old mother and fulfilling her duties while anticipating the reward from Allah.

QUESTION: My grandmother is very old and always forgets things and her overall behavior is like a kid. My mother has to look after her the whole day and she and my father often become frustrated and shout. When I try to calm my mother sometimes she gets angrier and thinks I am disregarding her pain. What should I do to calm the shouting while still showing support to my mom?
