Is the practice of holding the breath from the beginning to the end of recitation of each verse of the Quraan something that was practised by the Prophet (peace be upon him) or his companions? If not, then is it a bidah?

Can you please explain 4th verse of surah talaq? First part speaks about old women but the middle part( those with no menses) speaks about whom?

This verse talks about the Iddah period. Women are either having menses or don’t have it. Those who have it, their waiting period is 3 menstruations. Those who don’t have menses are either too old or too young to have menses. These females’ Iddah is 3 months.

Sheikh, when you read Quran and You come to a verse where you prostrate… Is it obligatory to prostrate?

No it’s not mandatory it is recommended.

If i am on my menses and i hear someone recite a verse of the qur’an which requires prostration do i prostrate to it at all? if so do i do it while on menses or after i have become clean?

You can prostrate on the spot no problem. This prostration doesn’t require ablution.

Does he who prays taraweeh; whatever he prays behind the imam or if he prays behind imam reciting a whole juz is it as if he gets the reward of reading that portion of the quran, will that be written classed as quran read for him in his record account?

Can we put quran software and audio in our mobile, because some people say that you should not do this. The reason they give is that we carry mobiles in washroom too and so this is humiliation for quran. is it true?
