Imam recites al-fatihah loud prayers congregation(Fajr, maghrib esha) I recite al-fatihah same time silently e.g when the imam says alhamdullilahi rabil alammen I say the same, imam says ar rahmaniraheem I say the same etc.. this ok ?imam does not pause after reading al-fatihah starts surah straight away- if I read al-fatihah I may not get to listen to surah being recited or be able to finish my recital of fatihah if imam reading short surah?

This is not recommended. It is not mandatory to recite the Fatiha after the Imam in loud prayers. It is best for you to listen to him and then after he finishes, you recite it even if he doesn’t pause.

Is it obligatory to perform sunnat salat: 2 Rak’at before Fajr prayer, 4 Rak’at before and 2 Rak’at after Dhuhr prayer, 4 Rak’at before Asr prayer, 2 Rak’at after Maghrib prayer and 4 Rak’at before and 2 Rak’at after Isha prayer?

There are no Sunnah prayer that is obligatoary.

If i am recitning the Tashahud in my last Rakah and I forget wether I made two Sajdas or only one and started the Tashaud do I say ‘Rabbi aghfirlee’ and go into Sjada and then recite Tashaud and after the Salam do Sajda As Sahu?

If you are most likely didn’t do it, you should offer this sajdah and then read your Tasha’hud and then offer salam and then offer 2 sujud sahu and then offer another salam.

Up to how many days is the limit for travelling and connecting salah to be applicable on a person? example travelling away from home city for more then 7 days which means the new city i shall be visiting i will be there for 7 days before returning home.

No, it is Sunnah and recommended.

I would like to ask some other things regrding Salah, many Muslims of our area, say that we shouldn’t do rafadayn i.e. Raising hands before and after ruku and in the starting of third rakah, and the say it is mentioned in Sunan At-Trimidhi, and Abu Dawood from Abdullah ibn Masud (RA) that Prophet Muhammad (saw) raised his hands only once in Salah, only in starting. There isn’t any Sunnah prayer before Friday. After the Friday prayer, the Sunnah is to pray 4 rak’ah in the masjid or 2 rak’ah at home.
