In our country Bangladesh the Ramadan starts after one day of saudi arab and my friends are saying that Ramadan should start with same time in the whole ummah like since the people of arab saw the moon first as a one ummah we should start withthey say anywhere in the world if the moon is seen we should start fasting…….now im confused what should i do ??? should i start with our local people or with them???

You should follow your people who sight the moon in your country and not follow Saudi Arabia

I have left 6 days to fast from Ramadan (qada), if I start fasting from tomorrow I will not have enough time to fast also the 6 days of Shawwal. If I will fast the last 2 or 3 days from Shawwal I will be rewarded?

If you will only fast few days of the 6 days of Shawal, this will not work. you must fast the whole month of Ramadan and make up for the missed days and then fast the 6 days of Shawwal.

I was fasting as an expiation for breaking an oath. I wake up for fajr. After doing wudu, I realized that there is some more time left for azaan. So I decided to take a short slumber as I was quite tired. But I wake up after sunrise. I prayed the fajrimmediately after doing wudu again. Is my fasting for those days valid?

Yes it is.

If one has the intention to make up for an obligatory fast (which they missed during ramadan due to menstruation) but then they break that fast because their mum is worried about their health (as that day, the person had to travel and they usually faint/collapse), would they get sin for breaking that fast?

If this is the case, they will be sinful if they fast while travelling. They have to not fast that day

Now that Muharam is close by, kindly tell me what I am suppose to do in the first ten days of Muharam apart from fasting on the days of Ashura and Ta’shura.

You can fast as many days of Muharram as the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said that this month is the best for fasting after Ramadan.

My wife has kept her fasting from sunday till tuesday (today), means she kept 3 fasts, is it fine the fast which she kept on sunday is been considered as one of her missed ramadan fasts, but, her niyyah was not for missed ramadan,

If she fasted these 3 days with the intention of making up for Ramadan, this is permissible. But if she didn’t intend the making up for Ramadan, this doesn’t count for Ramadan.

I wanted to expiate for a broken oath, but I am not earning anything, I depend on my father’s money. Wouldn’t it be better for me to fast for 3 days rather than feeding the poor?

If you don’t have money, you must fast.

I am a doctor from Iraq. I took my wife and my only daughter to visit her family, and on our way back we were in my car, and I hit a hole containing a mine which caused the car to roll over and I lost consciousness because of bleeding in the brain. As for my daughter, they said that she died less than one hour after the accident, and my wife died approximately 10 hours afterwards, as they say. I hope that you can explain to me the following matters: 1. Am I regarded as having killed my wife and daughter?2. What are the consequences for me of this matter and what is my situation with regard to inheritance?

Sheikh, I want know , what will be the ruling of a person driving a car with 10 persingers and had an accident. And they all died is he going to past for all of them or make it a 60 days fasting of kaffara ?

If the police say that it was his mistake, he has to fast 2 consecutive months for each person who has died and pay the blood money (diyyah).
