As a student in the university I have a question regarding description of dajjal. As we know from Hadith he has one eye and lives on an island, and a story that some people seen him in Hadith but don’t know to which island did the storm take them. My question is that can this description of anti christ is exactly like story of cyclops. Everything about him is exactly same to dajjal.

I work for a charity organisation in the UK and every year they do a “Christmas Toy Appeal”. Other companies donate toys and then these are distributed to destitute families with young children. I was given the responsibility to arrange which families should receive the toys, but I want to know was it permissible for me to take part in this?

Sheikh, my wife says her mom gave her certain amount of gold which is above nisab level, problem is its not under my possession or under my wife possession, i never know how much they gave her, its not with her right now, its been more than 7months, and i dont think i can exercise full rights on the gold without anyones permission, so in that case am i responsible to pay zakat ?

Your wife is responsible for paying the zakat on her gold. If she can’t get hold of it and she is unable to sell it because they are keeping it and not releasing it, there is no zakat on her until she receives it.

What is the ruling concerning teaching fitness classes with music? A sister who has become a full time student of knowledge is considering to start to work again as fitness instructor, which she has been doing for the past 15 years, before she converted to Islam, and teach classes with music. (That type of classes can’t be taught without music.)
