Is it okay to study his works ( Hasan Al Basri), for example, the below statement is it authentic (really told by him)? If I should avoid reading materials from any scholar of the 12th century and so forth, let me know sheikh ! In USA some chicken companies slaughter large number of chickens by a machine where all the chickens are hung up in a row and they slaughter them one after the other with the same blade. I think it’s a stun death of chickens and they don’t say takbeer verbally, rather they play a tape recorder saying takbeer, then is that chicken halal to eat?

It is an issue of dispute. There is a hadeeth in Saheeh Muslim where the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam forbade from wearing the RING on the middle or the index finger. Some scholars say that this is only for males. I believe that it is general and for all genders.

There is a sister studying under Al asyairiah campus in Indonesia. But she believes in the manhaj of the salaf. She with one of her peer is only wearing niqab there. One of the subject in that university is discussing in ibn wahab’s book about aqeedah. The university doesn’t like ibn Abdil wahab and the salaf. I told her to leave her university. But she wants to complete another 2 years and get her bachelor degree. Also she is a bit confused. What is the right thing to do, leave the university or keep studying there?

It has to be  wide, loose,  modest and covers the body completely. Therefore, if it is covering her waist, this seems ok providing that the skirt is loose. But if her waist and buttocks curves are exposed, this is not permissible.
