I heard an Islamic speaker say that whether the system is of democracy, theocracy, dictatorship, kingship or any other system, it does not matter as long as they rule by the book of Allaah. Is it correct? Also if the shariah is established, how will a Khalifah be chosen? Since in democracy every single person from the country votes but Abu Bakr(ra) or Umar (ra) was chosen by few companions not by the every single member of the Ummah.

Is it possible that jinns seize people on their own or do people through practises call them upon certain people and control them? I have often heard such and such person had jinn in him so we took him to a person who can speak to the jinn and through some way can relieve the person of the jinn. I don’t know about all this so asking.

Yes it is possible to be possessed by jinn and for someone to take this jinn out by performing ruqya.

I am a university student and for the past 10 months waswas of shaytan has effected me. It started with just small doubt and me acting on it to the extent that my mind is full of doubts when I try to ignore it. This happens especially during purification and prayer. Specifically when I urinate, I always have doubts that some drops came out then for each salah I wash myself and my underwear then go do wudho and then pray and then again I smell my garments to check if urine came out or not. Sometimes I find smell and most of the time I don’t so this increases the waswas. When I pray I always think about if urine came out or no which causes my stomach to bloat and it makes me feel like urine came out but as soon as prayer is over my stomach is back to normal. Every single day I wake up with determination to ignore it. I succeed for 3 or so days then as soon as I act upon on doubt again I go back to that state. I have been ignoring it for so long and I didnt discuss with anyone but my prayers are being effected. I miss standing for prayer for long time and the kushoo. A shiekh told me to ignore it completely and even if urine make out in reality then it will not be taken against me as I am effected by waswas. Can you please tell me any methods that will not be taken against me or should I keep on checking my garments after salah?

These are waswas and you must try your best to fight them. Just make sure you perform your wudhu correctly, clean your private part with water after going to the bathroom, and do not think about if any urine was left or not.

My mom is 63 years old and prays for 10 years. Because of her limits on reading she has very little knowledge in Islam. I converted to Islam recently and I love her to wear hijab but she told me it’s already late for her to wear hijab. Pls can you advise me what’s reality will she be rewarded if she wears hijab at this age?

I heard this from a highly respected speaker of tablighi jamaat that Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said “If I would been praying the Isha salah and my mother calls me beta (son) Muhammad, I would have left (break) the prayer and answered the call of my mother. Is this hadeeth authentic?

This is fabricated and not authentic.

I was working in an organization which was dealing with riba. I informed my parents about it and I told them I am resigning but they didn’t allow me to do so. But as I know riba is a major sin I resigned without letting my parents know. So here I wanted know was I supposed to ask them again as I know they won’t allow me to do so?
