The presence of the wali is required or his authentic power of attorney for someone else to represent him and to give his consent in his place!

In the situation where a sister’s father commits shirk by going to a fortune teller, is he then not suitable to be the wali in the marriage contract? Should the role of wali be given to her eldest brother instead who is an adult? What if it’s not clear whether the father has repented or not, what should happen?

I’m going NUTS!? Look, I keep hearing how Salah must be perfect and if its not complete, your other deeds won’t benefit. This is making me almost cry. Every time I stand up and say Allahu Akbar, I don’t have khushoo. People say Allah is merciful but at the same time, I read that Hadith about Salah and it makes me wanna cry. I do other deeds and sacrifices. What am I supposed to do? Will I get punished for my Salah? I read despairing in Allahs mercy is also a MAJOR SIN.. I do this many times which only adds to more depression. I suck man.

No one has perfect khushoo! That is why Allah instructed us to offer more voluntary prayers to compensate for whatever was missing in our fard prayers. Don’t give up and keep on trying and keep on offering voluntary prayers.

I am resident of Jeddah I am planning to perform hajj this year. It is practically impossible for me to attend prayer in masjid nimrah I will pray individually my question is that in Arafat should I have to combine Zuhr and Asr prayer and should I perform two or four rikah also should I perform sunnah moakiddah during Hajj?

You don’t perform sunnah of thuhur, Maghreb or Isha and you shorten your prayers in Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina. You only combine prayers in Arafat and Muzdalifah.
