if somebody is doing something haram because I encouraged them to do it, but since then I have repented, if the other person still continues to do the wrong thing, will I still be sinful for it even though I have repented?

If you told him not to do it after your repentance, you will not be sinful in sha Allah.

Can a muhaddith give a fatwa? And what is the role of a Faqeeh and a mufti?

He can give a fatwa if he is qualified to give one. Faqih is a person who has understanding of the fiqh issues.. Mufti is the grand scholar who gives Islamic fatwa or verdicts.

How can one pray salah holding a 4 month old baby- can I hold him with both hands while standing or does one hand has to be on chest? -do I put him on the floor first, do the opening takbeer then pick him up as both hands needs to be raised up -when reading tashahhud can I still carry him with both hands?

It is permissible to carry a child during prayer. Try to minimize your movement! Raising the hands is a sunnah but it is not mandatory.

In a Hadith Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says Drink with right hand.I sincerely respect the Hadith.But Is it permissable for me to drink with left hand at the time of having my food like rice and curry? If I drink with right hand then the glass looks dirty.

No, this is not permissible and this is not a valid reason. Nothing must enter your mouth through your left hand! This is satan’s way of eating and drinking.

My question is as follows… Is reciting Sayyidul Istighfar at fajr and maghrib daily enough for me to repent from my sins? Or do I have to pray two rak’as and then supplicate to Allah for forgiveness?

This depends on the gravity of that sin and when you had made it. When seeking Allah’s forgiveness, it is not only the du’a or the two Rakah that erases the sins. It is the remorse and humility one constantly displays.

Can I use Allah’s name; Ya Dhu-l-Jalaliwa-I-ikram in all/any of my supplications ?

While praying in jam’aa once, while rising from ruku, i accidentally started to say ‘sami Allahu liman hamidah’. I said ‘sam’, then I remembered, stopped saying that and said rabbana wa lakal hamd. Do things like this affect the prayer?
