I read on islamqa that it isn’t allowed to recite with maqamat. It is a recent fatwa. They also have a fatwa of Bin Baz saying it isn’t allowed. However, many, if not the overwhelming majority of reciters I hear recite in these styles. For example Abu bakr shatri recites like the maqamat called Kurd. I am confused

One must not imitate such maqamat to the extent he feels like singing the Quran rather than reciting it.

I’m newly married man from india but work/stay in ksa. In’sha’Allah i want to goto india after 2 weeks to meet my parents and wife. I informed my mother but i have not informed my wife, as i want to surprise her. Is surprise visit allowed.

It is not permissible to surprise your wife by arriving from a long journey without notifying her. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa salla forbade this so that she can get ready for you and you won’t see what you may not like from her!

I’m 15 years old and living in Australia, Next week my class is going to learn how to have sex and our teacher is going to show us how to do it. I need help. Should I join the class that day or not? What should I do as a Muslim?

This is prohibited as it involves RIBA as such private institutions give interests.

I’m pregnant with my first baby so it goes difficult for me ..my husband wants to perform umrah and takes me as well,but cause i’m fearing of baby condition…can i go with my husband to umrah without performing it? and can i pray in holy places(kaaba, masjid of nabi) without performing umrah?

There is no fear on your pregnancy from Umrah! If you can fly, your can perform Umrah as it is only walking! Besides, there are wheelchairs that your can use throughout the entire Umrah.

I want to start a new business and for buying and purchasing we must use credit card as there is no other option. Can we use this option in these circumstances ?

You must not use credit cards unless you charge it with the amount you are going to use before you actually use it!

If they are non alcoholic , it is permissible.

There is scholar goes by the name of Javed Ghamdi in pakistan who is spreading deviant thoughts in Pakistan who is a Munkar e hadith has recently fired a topic of interest and claims that there is no interest on usable Items such as cars, houses and machinery. For instance a bank buy u a house for 200k although the real value at this time is 175k then what ever extra the bank is charging is the rent and it is halal. He also says the original Hurmat of interest is on taking interest not on giving. Please explain asap in details so that i can forward it to people as well.

Such a person is ignorant and deviant and he is not a scholar to be listened to! One must reset to the Quran and sunnah with the interpretation of the salaf!

it’s a common trend in many parts of the world for muslims to have felines such as cheetah and tigers as pets and even snakes like python. Is it allowed Islamically to have such animals as pets??

My daughter is 6 yrs old and have learnt to pray and can pray on her own. She has memorized half of the juz and I have memorized 2 juz. We pray at home in jamaa but she sometimes insists on leading the prayer. Can I let her lead me in prayer so that she feel happy and get confidence?

This is permissible but not recommended as the rule is that the one memorizing more, leads the prayer. She is too young to pray and too young to demand such a thing. You should encourage her to learn more Quran and make that her incentive.
