I am asking for my wife. My wife has a lower back pain for few years now especially in the night she cannot sleep on both sides. She has done CT scan, X-Ray and Ultra Sound repeatedly but they cannot see any problems. Every time we went to hospital, they tell us that, they cannot do anything. I read that to see that the menses are over it should be noticed by either complete dryness or if we experience the white discharge, after them we should wait until we see it And i do experience it How long is it normal to wait for that discharge? Because it has been a day and i didnt see it yet. Is that normal?

If your menses is over on time and you see dryness, you must take your ghusul! If you don’t see complete dryness but you see the white discharge, take ghusul.

I have almost made up my mind to take a step in my life, And of course i want to pray salaat al-Istikhaarah. But actually i am on my menses. Can i take the decision and do the step i am thinking of doing and pray istikhara in sha Allah as soon as they are over? Or do i have to wait?

You can say the dua al istikharah after you have reached the decision, and you do just the dua by itself, without the prayer.

My daughter is 4 year old and she saw a video on youtube of “Bismillah”. In the video there is this demon figure representing Shaytaan that flies around the little girl, and when she says Bismillah the shaytaan goes away. Since she saw that video, she is afraid of Shaytaan and does not stay in room alone, or go anywhere alone at all. Is it ok if I explain her that Allah resides in out heart and when we are remembering Allah always, and when Allah is in our heart, Shaytaan is far away. Is it ok to tell her Allah resides in our heart. Please let me know.

This question is regarding astrology, a man used to read about astrology before Islam and believed that some star signs apply to some people, now Alhamdulilah he has studied aqeedah and realised this is shirk and falsehood but has some doubts when communicating with people and he refers their personality to a star sign, what is the ruling regarding this?

There is a difference of opinion between scholars regarding the description of it! Imam Nawawi chose that it is the way that a dog sits and this is by sitting on the round on his buttocks and spreading his legs and putting his hands in front of him.
