ANSWER: If you want to sit down then yes, you have to pray tahiyattul masjid in the ladies section as well because it is part of the masjid.

i know someone who doesn’t pray at all. not even juma’a. but in ramadan he fast but still in ramadan he doesn’t pray. that means he fasts without praying at all. does it mean that he is a kafir? and shall i consider him and call him a kafir?

ANSWER: You cannot call anyone kafir. To judge people is not our responsibility. Only scholars can label him as such after fulfilling the conditions and ensuring there are no obstacles between him and kufr! He could be praying when people don’t see him.

My mum told me she and her generation love the Prophet more than the companions”, I was shocked at such a statement. I told her the Compnanions without a doubt love the Prophet more than we do. What should i tell her to convince her that her statement is false and could perhaps be going against the Quran??

ANSWER: Nobody can love the Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam more than the companions, we can try to reach that level by following the sunnah to the letter. But still the level of love of the companions towards the Prophet is way high.

Is it Sunnah to cover your head while having lunch or dinner or eating something.

My question is that should we hav to finish the full Quran within 40 days from the day we started? Is it true they we hav to start it again if the quran is not finished in 40days.its bout just reciting the quran (tilawah) not with the translation.

ANSWER: One should finish reciting the Qur’an once in every month, if you are not able to do so then you do not have to start all over again, you can still continue.

In the Quran Allah always reminds us to give shukr to him for the blessings we have. And by giving shukr he will increase our blessings. How do we become humble and give thanks to Allah. Any specific way that we may thank Him for our blessings, like dua etc?

ANSWER: By acting as Allah wants and fulfilling one’s duties and obligations and by staying away from sins.

Sir,I read on a webpage which says that there are some ahadeeth from Bukhari which are not authentic while scholars have classed them saheeh.This idea is causing me immense trouble.And I also read Shaikh Albani considered some ahadeeth in Bukhari to be wrongly classed Saheeh.Is this any truth to this and what should I believe if there are any mistakes in it?

ANSWER: How can you believe anything you read when you don’t know who said it and whether it can be trusted or not? Ignore whatever you hear about Saheeh Al Bukhari and Muslim. These are all authentic books that the whole Ummah accepted to be authentic.

Sheikh, I signed up for a matrimonial profile on ……… and it asked me questions about my prayers and fastings, i.e. it has multiple choices to choose that you pray/fast the obligatory/voluntary prayers/fasting or not. Did I do anything wrong that I answered these questions, sheikh? (I fear it is riyaa or anything.)

Is it Kufr that some Muslims say that Allah CANNOT die or CANNOT oppress, as Allah says He is All-Capable? In a website, I saw that the writer wrote that it is not permissible to say “CANNOT” because it sets a limit to Allah’s Capabilities. They say that rather one should say “He DOES NOT oppress and not that He CANNOT because He can oppress.”

ANSWER: Try to keep advising him and reminding him about the moment of death, fullfill his desires, and exhaust him in bed, then he will not think about any other relation outside the marriage, make Duaa to Allah to guide him to the right path. If he doesn’t change, you can seek divorce from him.
