ANSWER: Fard prayers must not be offered while sitting except when a person is unable to stand! Voluntary prayers are permissible to be offered sitting down but the reward is half that of standing up.

Is it permissible to play a game a where a person can be revived by using a equipment. Some first person shooters allows the player to choose various equipment like grenade launcher to equipment that can revive people when they get kill by the opponent, so is it permissible to play these games?>

ANSWER: If there is bringing people from the dead and giving them life, this is not permissible.

i havr to repay a loan from bank and hence i have done some saving,example 100,000 amongst which i have 40,000 saving.so am i liable to pay zakat from 40,000 and salary or only only from my salary/jwlry,etc?

ANSWER: You must give zakat on the gold which is above 85 grams of gold. You give 2.5% on any cash you have had in your possession for over one lunar year whether it is yours or it is a loan!

Would a Muslimah be going against any Qur’an commandments and/or the Sunnah if she wears modest clothing that meets ALL hijab requirements in public but without an outer garment like the jilbab, abaya etc, taking care to cover her body and hair in loose-fitting non-attractive clothing in any form or style, depending on her country of origin. Pls clarify.

ANSWER: Go to the Islamic center or the local masjid and Surround yourself with righteous friends 24/7 , attend islamic lectures, and make lot of Duaa.

After finishing salah, as I stood up, I realized that the person just behind me was performing salat. Can I move at this time or I will have to wait till he finishes salat?
