This will not break the prayer, however, make sure to put the child in a safe place, with toys to keep him busy while standing up for salah. You shouldn’t take him to the masjid as this annoys other worshippers.  

Can a mother while praying abruptly break her qiyam to pick up or snatch things from her child,if the child is spreading menace in the house or at a masjid. And how often can this act be done inorder not to violate the prayer by doing it excessively.
