ANSWER: It is recommended not to pray in darkness as this is not from the sunnah and one doesn’t know what will crawl under him or in front of him.

I wants to get married and I frequently make dua for it.if counted it makes 10 to 15 times a day.ayat e karima is said to be recited to make dua accepted.everytime making dua,I recite ayat e karima frequently.it is powerful dua.is it ok to recite it frequently whenever making dua in a day or not ?

ANSWER: No, you must not do this as it’s an innovation. Just make general dua during times of acceptance, such as in salah in your sujood, in the last tashahud, before making salam, between Azaan and iqama, during the last third of the night, begging Allah until He opens the door and answers your dua.

someone told me that the people of the book will eventually enter paradise. Then the question comes then why pray and so on people can just do anything they want too. I think this understanding is incorrect and I think it falls under one of the category of nullifying Islam. This I think came from someone in the family who is ignorant in Islamic understanding and is spreading this. What should I tell this person, I am not knowledgeable in this subject please tell me what to do?

ANSWER: This is not true! People of the book who had heard of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam yet still refused to accept Islam will stay in hell for eternity and will never enter Paradise.

There is a big difference of monetary value between the nisab amount of gold and nisab amount of silver in our country. So on which basis should we calculate the nisab?

ANSWER: On Silver. The threshold (nisab) of money is the value of 595 grams of silver which is about 476$. You try and set a date and on that day, you calculate how much you have and give 2.5% in zakat. Every lunar year, you do this process on that date.

Inshallah i am going to umrah next week, for 12 days. Do i read qasar salah or do i read full salah with the jamaat. If I should read qasar salah, then how shall i read it?.

ANSWER: If you’re praying behind the Imam in the Masjid, then you must follow him and pray full.

There are lots tribes in amazon where the message of islam did not reach. There are other places which are very remote and unlikley to reach the message of islam. What will happen to those if they die before getting the message?

ANSWER: If they genuinely did not get the message then Allah will test them on the day of judgment and decide about their fate.

Is it permissible for a boy who has fell in love with a girl to tell about this to his mother or father , so that he can convince them to let him marry her or get some advice to cure the love sickness, if it is impossible to get married. I have read in some books of scholars that they have told to conceal the love and not to tell to anyone. O Shaykh please clarify this!
