When she is at the end of her menses and sees her purity which is either by complete dryness or by seeing the white thread-like dischargethat is not accompanied by any other colors, she must take ghusul without waiting. 

How long can one wait for total dryness after the flow of blood,then light brown discharge. is one expected to pay the prayers she missed during the period she is waiting to be sure that her menses had ended

My query is that usually my periods last 5 days. This time, on the fifth day of my cycle, i performed ghusl and thought i was clean. The same day we had intercourse and there was blood,pure red blood which continued until the next day which made the period 6 days. What should i do in this case ? Do we need to pay any expiation or give charity ?
