My brother workz in a shipping company. Once while at port he noticed unclaimed zam zam water which was lying there for nearly 10months. He brought it home and distributed the bottles. Is it permissible for him o take it? Is it permissible for us to accept it? His opinion is its unclaimed and we can use. Please guide me on thiz matter.

ANSWER: This is prohibited for him and for you as well as this is considered stolen goods. Only the authority has the right to sell it or give it to people.

I read a hadith today about one complainled to our Prophet ﷺ about poverty.So He ﷺ said him when you enter ur home say salam and read Surah Iqlas and recite durood onto me once. Well is this authentic ?

Sheikh if I am reciting Quran seated on my bed, putting on a short trouser that doesn’t cover beyond my knees and I happen to find a verse that requires me to prostrate, for example reciting Surat sajda before sleeping. Can I prostrate on my bed with my short trouser?

Sheikh, i watched your video where you’ve mentioned about buying share is not halal if a company involved in 50% or 70% riba. As all the companies in my country by default involved in some sort of riba transaction, what percentage of riba involvement of a company will make it permissible to buy it’s share?

ANSWER: There isn’t any prescribed percentage. Some scholars say that even one percent is prohibited as you are part of the owners. Other scholars said that it shouldn’t exceed one third of the financing as the third is used a lot in sharia.

Sheikh I saw your video regarding copyrighted material in which you told that we can download if the material is available on internet.In such case is it allowed to buy a product from a market which sells the products which has been stolen?Kindly clarify
