My question is, are we supposed to trim or remove the hair surrounding our back portion (surrounding anus) as well?

ANSWER: The hair on the pubic area which is below the naval and above the private part. Removing the hair around this area is mandatory and it is recommended to remove it from the testicles. If you remove the hair around the anus, that would be good as well.

Is the Sunnah of tahneek supposed to be done on the first day the baby is born or is it permissible to do it a few days later such as the 3rd day or so?

Muslims are told not to leave a place where there is epidemic of plague. But if there is any epidemic disease other than plague in any area, is it permissible to leave that area?

ANSWER: Ramadan has got nothing to do with your zakat. You must give your zakat when it’s due.

I have tried searching for an Islamic interpretation or hadeeth or a scholarly paper regarding mentally disabled people in Islam but have not found anything regarding this matter. My question is, if someone has a son/daughter who is mentally challenged (not autism, retardation) from birth, is it a curse from Allah? How should they handle it?

ANSWER: This is not a curse! It is a test for all those around him.

There are some narratives on performing Taraweeh at home. Since my childhood I understand that recitation of the Holy Quran is a must. So, can we recite several surahs during the 20 rakahs of this prayer during the month of Ramadan? Is it a Congregational or individual prayer?

ANSWER: No problem in reciting as many surahs and as many rakahs as you want in taraweeh and this can be prayed both in congregation as well as individually but definitely it’s more rewarding if you prayed in congregation. The imam can hold the Qur’an or mobile and recite from it the longer surahs.

Whenever I offer Namaz, many memories come to my mind, then will this prayer be accepted?

ANSWER: The prayer is valid as long as you fulfilled the conditions of salah, however it will vary in rewards, the more you have concentration and contemplation in salah, the more the reward.

In India if someone dies we used to see his dead body in house. Here during that visit they used to cook briyani or vegetable briyani and we used to eat in their house as a group. Ive heard that it is not allowed. Pls clarify this sheikh whether eating in the Deceased house is allowed or not..?

ANSWER: Yes, one should not eat as he is going there to give condolences and not for feasting.

We have a young male servant employed at our home . Since the corona lock down we have not asked him to do any work for us. We sent him home but are still paying his wages in full. It has been a month now and we do not intend to cut his salary at all. Will this salary be counted in Sadqat

ANSWER: This can be counted as Sadaqah if you intended that.
