ANSWER: No, it’s not obligatory but it’s highly recommended.

QUESTION: One day while praying ‘Asr in the mosque, the Imam mistakenly sat in the 3rd rakah and recited Tashahhud. I initially got up and stood but later sat down again when I saw that the Imam did not rise up for the “4th rakah” but I did not recite the tashahhud in the 3rd rakah like the Imam. The Imam along with everyone of us offered sujood-as-sahw before concluding the prayer. Did I do anything wrong?

QUESTION: Music is haram but if the song is sang in Arabic or someone puts Arabic subtitles on that song etc does it become even more haram? Like is it disrespecting the language or more bad than just using any other language? Or is it the same level of haram for every language?

QUESTION: Saree seems to be an attractive outfit to me.though it can cover whole body,some body parts like the bulge of butt&breast is somewhat recogniseable.is it permissible to wear saree in front of mahrams provided that no part of the body that’s not permissible to show is revealed but such bulge is recogniseable?

ANSWER: Showing part of the waist is not permissible in front of anyone but her husband as this is part of her awrah. She can wear this in front of her husband and wear a loose outer garment that conceals the shape and bone structure of her body in front of other mahram.

QUESTION: Here in Pakistan there is a perception that in winter it is not mandatory for females to take full bath after sexual intercourse with their husbands which includes washing of whole hair instead they wipe over their heads and consider this a whole bath! Would appreciate if this question can be clarified please.
