ANSWER: When a person invests in a company, he is a partner in it. Therefore, if they deposit money in a bank and take interests or finance their projects by borrowing from interest based banks, this is not permissible and one must not invest in such companies.

QUESTION: Young salafi adult male feels lonely and like a stranger among his relatives and parents. They are barelwis and engage in sin. They don’t know about his ‘conversion’. He wants to ask Allah 4 death but doesn’t becoz its haram. His tests are hard and is patient. He feels weak and wants your advice.

QUESTION: I heard a scholar say that you dont get rewarded if people accept Islam from your dawah. You get rewarded from Allah’s mercy because you gave dawah. My question is: Doesn’t this contradict the hadith which states that if someone accepts Islam at your hands then you will get all the reward for his good deeds? How do you reconcile this?

ANSWER: What this scholar said is totally wrong. The prophet (ﷺ) said: I swear on Allah, it will be better for you that Allah should give guidance to one man through your agency than that you should acquire the red ones among the camels.
