ANSWER: Yes, you are sinful. It’s obligatory upon you to maintain ties of kinship with him. He will be accountable for his deeds in front of Allah and so will you be if you don’t connect with him and fulfill your duties towards him.

QUESTION: I’m a 28yo male (un employed) I stay with my parents. Can my mom do laundry, bedding and cooking for me or should I do on my own? I mean like is it her responsibility or mine. ANSWER: If you are unemployed and not contributing anything in the house then you should help out around the house instead of being a burden on her.

QUESTION: There is hadith, whoever misses 3 jumuah, Allah will seal his heart. What is the meaning? Missing 3 jumuah with khutba or just the 2 rakah prayer itself! If WITH khutba then what if one arrives 15/20 mins late? Please clarify
