QUESTION: Can we give zakat to pay someone’s bank loan? This sister’s husband took loan with interest but he died now his wife has to pay. The bank has forgiven the interest rate but not the principal amount.

ANSWER: If the loan is on the sister and she is forced to pay it off, this is permissible but it is not permissible to pay off an interest loan from zakat especially if it was on someone who is dead.

ANSWER: It is not permissible for the follower to do so. They should listen to the imam without distracting others next to them and must put the right hand over the left and to look at the spot of prostration.

ANSWER: You must return the amount even if you have to do it discreetly or give that amount as a gift to him without specifying anything or tell him the truth and ask him for forgiveness

QUESTION: I have been having my menses like this for years my menses is hard to distinguish when it is over and it goes over 15 days for the maximum amount of period, I get flowing blood for approximately 8-10 days then it’s coloured discharge after this should I wait each time to pass the 15 days & continue my prayers & fasts

ANSWER: You are considered to be Mustahadah and you should only stop for the days of your bleeding and then perform ghusul and every prayer time you must wash your private parts, change your soiled pad or underwear and perform wudhu to pray
