I don’t have any Islamic information about it though I have read that this is part of the pagan traditions of ancient Greece. It goes without saying that this is not permissible to participate in by Muslims.

Halal/Haram Matters

If the ingredients are halal that is permissible

When refering to the sahaba we say “RadhiyAllahu ‘anhu/a”, when refering to the taabi’ee scholars we say “Rahimahullaah”, we also say “Rahmathullaahi ‘alaih” for the Imaams, then for the contemporary scholars alive, we say “Hafidahullaah” etc. Correct me if I am wrong or incomplete. Shaikh, how are we deciding or agreeing upon these different salutations? Is it a formal process like issuing a Fatwa, or otherwise?

Radia Allahu anhu, is used with the companions because it was mentined in the Quran that Allah was pleased with them and they were pleased with Him. Rahimahu Allah is used with everyone else even with us as this is supplication that Allah may have mercy on him.

It is a custom of the non Muslims and a Muslim’s life with his wife is constant honeymoon. Travelling to non Muslim countries for this reason is no permissible. Travelling to Muslim countries is permissible as long as there isn’t anything haram, and Allah knows best.

As I started to grow beard and pray salah, some people around me mock or fun at me saying you become a Huzur or Mullah. I can sense that they call these name not out of compliment rather as a fun. How to I response to these situation. .. …Should I keep quite and ignore?

A person while studying had to prepare a thesis or a project to get a particular degree, if he doesnt do so he wont be getting the degree for sure… he tried to make the project but couldnt do so and asked one of his friends to make it And then he submited it… luckily the thesis gets accepted and he gets a job on the basis of that degree, NOW the earning he is getting, would it be considered HALAL or HARAM?

What have you done is not permissible As for the money you earn they are halal if the work itself is halal and you are fulfilling the requirements of the job.

I have NRI bank account in India which give interest, and i have not been using it as interest is haram. What should i do with the interest. Should i leave it to the bank or can it be used for paying of the medication costs for my grand mother’s operation

Sir i have listened in your lecture that allah (saw) tells that masjid is the best land in the world and markets the worst so sir if person doesnt goes to market than how will he live his life how will he fulfill his daily needs how will he earn is going to market haram or makrooh.

………………………………………………………………. The hadeeth doesn’t tell us that we shouldn’t go to the markets. People have to go to markets to deal and buy what they need. The hadeeth tells us that these markets involve a lot of deception and lying and people should be careful not to get involved in such sins
