The most authentic opinion of scholars is that it is only for men. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam cursed women who often visit graves.

It is correct to give salams when I enter my home even if it is empty.

There is a narration mentioned in Al Adab Al Mufrad that Ibn Omer may Allah be pleased with him said: whenever you enter an uninhabited house, you should say Assalam alaina wa ala ibadillahi assaliheen.

I take care of my sister’s kids and sometimes, when I see them doing something inappropriate, I say “By God if you do that I will hit you.” I swear an oath in order to scare them and make realize that I am serious But sometimes they end up doing what I told them not to do. And when they do it, eventhough I made an oath that I will hit them, I mostly do not. My question is do I have to offer expiation to all the times I swore an oath without really acting upon it? You have to give expiation on all these oaths which is to feed 10 poor people or clothe them. If you are unable to do so, you must fast 3 days for each oath. You should have hit them lightly just so that you wouldn’t have broken your oath.

When I fast on mondays and thursdays, sometimes my friends are there and are like lets have lunch so at this point can I lie that I ate inorder to keep my good deed a secret. Secondly People somtimes ask what have you done for Islam, would the answer Allah knows best be a good answer?

If it is your company and both candidates are equal in qualification of close, you should give priority to the Muslim. Otherwise, you want your job to be fulfilled and executed by someone who is capable.
