What is the ruling of wearing a garland of flowers(The garlanding is a long string on which there are roses and flowers that is worn around the neck.) on occasions such as marriages,‘aqeeqahs,student who got admission in Medical or engineering degree, and while giving gift etc ? Because this custom is widespread here in India and Pakistan. Is this action bid‘ah (innovation)? or it is not permissible just because the Muslims have acquired from the kuffaar.

It appears to me that this is not permissible as it has been acquired from the Kafirs and because it is innovated in Islam. it is showing gratitude and being thankful by wearing this garlanding.

What should i do when i listen to a lecture or someone is saying “Sollallaahu ‘alayihi wasallam” and i am in the restroom at that time? SHould i say it in the restroom in the restroom in my heart or say it after coming from.

Yes, it is providing your are feeding it properly.

If he is answering a important phone call and another person comes next to him and starts wishing him salaam and asking him how he is doing and so on and so forth. Will he be right in ignoring him till he finishes the call and then answering the salaam?

It is permissible to drink while standing but it is not recommended because the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam drank while standing up and Ali, may Allah be pleased with him said I don’t care whether I drink standing or sitting as I saw the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam drink standing up.

When reciting Surah Mulk before going to sleep should we be lying on our bed like the adhkar that we recite before sleeping?
