I have a question regarding placement of Quran.I want to put my mushaf in my office draw.is [1] it necessary that mushaf is placed on top?and nothing should be above it?since I use to place some documents on my desk

Jazakallah khair for your quick reply sheikh, I just wanted to clarify – the video you provided said reading from a Qur’an with a translation is permissible for a woman on menses, but touching the mushaf is impermissible. But would I be allowed to read from and hold the mushaf with gloves during menses?

dear sheikh i have a bit of unusual question.Regarding the the english translation of Qur’an,where the word used in translation of Allah S.A.W is the word “LORD”,now according to Wikipedia and other sources word lord originated in old germanic language and is of “PAGAN”origin also it was at later times introduced in english vocabulary,Please investigate further ,May God reward u!

I am a freelancer and I am on my Computer most of the times working on various Brain-storming tasks. As I work whole night I found out, Listening to Al-Quran recitation helps me to stay awake and concentrate more on every tasks also with a “fresh, blessed and purely at peace” feeling that I love so much. Is it permissible to do so or should I stop doing this?

I have a footrest. The top of the footrest can be lifted and things can be put inside the footrest. Is it permissible to sit, stand or put feet on the footrest if inside it there are papers with ayat or parts of ayat from the Quran written on them?

Assalamualakium. Reading the Quran and then seeing the translations makes me feel closer to Allah Azowajal. I do not comprehend & therefore cannot implement what is being said in Quran. I am taking Arabic classes and recognize words which makes me feel happy, but i’ve been advised to not read it & to listen to it instead. What should I do? I am a laymen. (female) If i listen, i don’t understand
