I would like to know if is ok to read certain surahs such as surah jumma, surah kehef n surah dakhaan on the eve of jumma every week? Is their recitation on a specific day proven by ahaadeeth?

As for surah khaf this is proven by the hadeeth on the day of Friday. The rest will be an innovation if recited every jumua.

Is it permissible to send the reward of quran recitaton or fateha to dead?

This is not permissible.

Do we have to memorize ruku numbers when we are doing hifz. These ruku numbers are only written on the quran that is printed in pakistan and India. My teacher is telling me that you have to memorize it. Is it gunnah if I don’t memorize it and will it effect my hifz?

Suppose I m reading quran sitting on chair, then ayah of sujud come. Can I prostrate sitting on chair by bending low & keeping hand on knee like as nawfil salah on chair.

You can prostrate on the ground! Therefore, either prostrate on the ground or don’t prostrate altogether.

I would like to memorize the Qur’an. I know some surahs but I am forgetting the new surahs I am memorizing. Can you please give me some tips on how to memorize ayahs and surahs. (i.e I have seen some people say read it 10 times then repeat) Please reply to my question.

One wall separates our house from our neighbour (kafir), you can hear all whenever you speak even low.I memorise quran in my bedroom and I’m sure he is tired of listening to it everyday and also the night prayer(when I raise my voice).He does not tell me nothing perhaps he is is shy,but most likely I’m bodering him.Its better for me to recite with voice whenever I memorise.Advice

This is permissible though understanding it is a priority more than memorizing it. Try to do both at the same time gradually.

What is the punishment for forgetting a learnt section of the Quran? Is the punishment mentioned in surah taha, verse 124? (Blind on the day of judgment)
