QUESTION: According to Islam new day(next day) starts after maghrib. So if for eg today is Thursday and so after Thursday’s maghrib, Friday has started so does it mean that we can recite surah ka’af after maghrib on a thursday ?

ANSWER: No. You should recite it from fajr of Friday until maghrib of Friday as the reward is in reciting it during the day time.

QUESTION: You have said in the answer that you gave to one of my questions that a girl is sinful for remaining in the state of major impurity ( due to ejaculation)during her periods as she won’t be able to read the quran. My question is it compulsory to read the quran daily? Kindly explain because i don’t have enough knowledge on this topic.

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory to recite the Quran but it’s highly recommended to recite at least one juzz every day. What kind of a Muslim is it who doesn’t recite the Quran daily while spending hours on social media and WhatsApp?

ANSWER: No problem. However, if they are junoob (major sexual impurity), its not permissible to recite the Quran.

ANSWER: It should be the Quran in Arabic text to gain the prescribed reward. The translation is not Quran but rather a translation of the meaning.
