Dear Shaikh, I would like to know the do’s and don’t on visiting ones grave. Also is it permissible to put Rose Water and plant a small tree on the grave & read Surah Yaseen.

Can I plant flowery plants & herbs in our family/community graveyard in & around graves. I also intend to put some banners, signs with written words of Allah(swt)s name, hadiths, ayats from quraan so that passing by people may read & get benefitted. Are these act & modification permissible?

Can we recite by standing infront of grave 3 times darud, 3 times surah fatiha and so on and say “ya allah ,what ever I have recited plz give the reward to the person resting in grave” ?

This is not from the sunnah and it is prohibited. You can make dua to Allah for him, give charity on his behalf or perform Umrah and Hajj on his behalf.

A father said before dying bury me in my home country (pakistan) and he died in Canada. So they gave him gusal did his janaza then took him to funeral house and they removed all body organs and empited blood from the body. They will leave for Pakistan the next day. What is islamic view on this situation and advice for people? Also is this permissible to remove organs after janaza?

Such a will must not be executed and they should bury him in Canada! Opening up a deceased is prohibited if done for no legitimate reason.

Sheikh,in Mranao Tradition after burial of a family member starts a 7day mourning. D family prepares food to serve friends&relatives who will visit.B4 visitors leave, they will give money w/c is regarded as “help” to d family.Those who are married must give “help”.Some clans have rule fixed “help”.4 ex., when a relative dies, they will gather php200 from each family.

Such gathering and collection is not permissible as these are innovations and exceeding the period of mourning which is 3 days only.

Sheikh is it permissable for a woman to visit the graveyard(for her matryed parents i.e Father or mother)and what kind of du’a one has to say when visitting the grave of the parent.

is it permissable for women to visit graves when burying the deceased person because some people say it is a normal thing others say it is haram or some case the women come and stand a distance of 200 metres frm the grave and watch there as the body is being burried.
