Shaikh. Is It Islamic for a Muslim Parent, to distinguish among their children by maintaining the eldest to be specially respected and give him good accommodation, and the youngest to be specially loved & give him much more extra money? I just want to know, are there any special rights for rest of the children between the eldest and the youngest? What should a Parent have to do?

Parents must treat all of their children equally.

sheik..I stay with my husband n my father in law does not wish to keep his wife. The problem is my mother in law wants my husband to stay with her at nights. .. is he liable to leave his wife n children n stay with his mother..

Your husband has obligations towards his mother and towards you and your children. If his mother is living with others, he must not sleep over and leave his own family! He may do this whenever there is a necessity but not every night.

A man used to be bad to his mother when he was young.at [1] the mother burial the son got mad and ever since all his wife and kids are failing in life.struck with illnesses and bad luck leading an unhappy life. that man says it’s not his fault everyone is wrong to say birr el walidin. What is your advice sheikh?

He must ask Allah for forgiveness and do righteous deeds for his mother and move on.

My father died almost 2 years ago, I’m the oldest one of my family and I have 2 brothers “8 and 18 years old ” and 2 sisters “16 and 21 years old ” ,Is it obligatory for me to spend on them?! Would I be sinful if I didn’t spend on them?! Notably, their pension is only 500Le because the rest of the pension goes to my step mom and half brother. Is it optional or obligatory?!

If you are financially able to, you must help the youngest and the girls (if they are not married) because if one of them dies, you will inherit them! This is an obligation upon you to provide for them.

My husband’s sister and her 30 year old son come for umrah every year from USA,she wants to stay with us to save her money on hotels and she is very dominant. Her son is not a mahram for me and my 20 years old daughter so it becomes very difficult for us. My husband says if she wants to stay with us I can’t stop her as she is my sister. Is it my duty to host her in Islam?

I see a lot of parents kissing their own babies/or grown children on the lips nowadays. What is the Islamic ruling on this? Is this allowed? If so upto what age?

This is not permissible and not hygienic.

Will a father or husband be accountable if he doesn’t allow his daughter/wife to enjoy outside. For example if she wants to go out to park with her friends and father/husband doesn’t allow for no legitimate reason, then will they be accountable before Allah or they can abuse their power as they want and let her be in prison!

My sister earns but i dont earn so if my mom or dad gives me pocket money or any money without giving her will the money be halal for me and can i myself ask for monies from my parents considering the above case?

This is permissible.

I am seriously unwell due to four strokes and two brain surgeries left with major fatigue, dizziness and at times forgetful. My brother looks after me full time however my father is very unwell due to old age and requires alot of care from day to night which my brother is finding hard to cope with both of us mentally and physically. Islamically what should he do?

He should try to balance as much as he can! If he is financially capable, he should get you a nurse and take care of his father.

My father always forces us (children) to pray with him. I understand that praying group salah is better (more rewarding), however, whenever I talk to my dad and tell him that I will pray right after I finish my studies (on time), he starts shouting at me and hits me. He never listens to my opinion, we barely even talk since he isnt good at communicating. What should I do?

You should obey him and leave everything and pray. The right thing to do is to pray in the masjid with the congregation, as this is the obligation on all male Muslims.
