Shaik, can a 15 year boy become a wali for his mother as there is no one left to be her wali. She is 40 years of age with 5 childrens, the elder son is of 15 and next one is 14. Can these two sons become wali of her mother?

The 15 year old is a man and he is her Wali.

I got the problem that I’m annoyed by things people do (especially mom) and I don’t think that’s normal. I wanna show her normal love as others do. But it’s not working. I’m praying a lot for it to go away but it’s happening the opposite (that’s what I’m feeling) please help me.. I need advice to get a normal bond with my parents.

If my father is taking me to a guest’s house where I will have to sit in the same room as women or eat on the same table, I have to refuse to go with him?

You politely decline and explain him why.

shayakh,keeping relation with relatives is mandatory in islam.but if a son continuously misbehaved with his mother,can that mother separated from her son,I mean can she live in another house without her son?

Yes she can live in a separate house, but she should not refuse to talk to him and sever the communication.

I heard it is a sin to be anything less than the best (ihsan) to parents. I saw your video on this. But it is very difficult to be the best always,shariah is not that difficult. What do you say? I mean it is sin to be the 2nd or 3rd best behaviours to parents? It is not that 2nd and third are disrespectful.

This is permissible but not rewardable as long as you are dutiful and not disrespectful.

I m divorced guy & getting 2nd marriage tough in our culture.I try to follow Sunnah. My mom insisting me shave my beard bcz girls rejecting my proposal.my mom emotionally insisting me to shave & keep after marriage.what to do?

Sheikh, I’ve committed a major sin and would like to repent from it sincerely. I just lost my temper with my mother. I cursed her by calling her an idiot and talking in a loud voice. How can I make up for this act? Please advise.

You must ask for her forgiveness and repent to Allah while showing deep remorse and sincerity! I don’t know any sin that is more heinous or serious than this except shirk!

Sheikh my father is very abusive &very angry person 2 talk 2,zero patience.&he fights on everything my mother says even if she says correct,by everythin I mean it.he wants that no one should speak in front of him just obey him whatever he says either right or wrong.When he shouts& gets abusive how can I respect him then from heart?he says I’ll go to hell if I disobeyed hm or argue

He is your test from Allah, as Allah has tested others with cancer and poverty and wars. Be dutiful and patient for the sake of Allah and Allah will punish him for his abuse and behavior.

Since I got married my parents have problems with my wife.We have very good understanding as she is caring,loving&understanding.she has supported me in thick and thin.whenever my parents meet us they abuse her and her family which is unbearable.They are asking me to divorce her inorder to reconcile with them.please shed light on this.i have tried many times to get reasonable with them but no use.

If what you are saying is true, they are transgressing and you must stop them from meeting her or seeing her. This is best for both parties. Ignore what they say about her and be kind and loving to her while being respectful and dutiful to your parents.

I’m a practicing Muslim, and I’m trying my level best to please and get closer to Allah. I really want to wear hijab but my parents do not allow me, I’ve tried explaining to them but they just won’t budge. I’m a 19 year old girl, so I’m not earning by myself that I can disobey my parents at this point. Pls give me a solution, Allah knows that I’m very eager to start hijab

You must not obey them in something that goes against Islam and is fard upon you. Be patient and remain firm in your convictions. Remain kind and respectful and do not argue with them. In no time they will get over this and forget you even have the hijab.
