My friend wants to accept Islam but the only thing holding him back is his sins he says he smokes marijuana and does other sins and wants to accept Islam when he stops. What should he do?

ANSWER: He should accept Islam immediately and later on quit such sins as he doesn’t know when his time would be. If he dies now, he will go to hell for eternity.

If someone from disbelievers will wish me “merry christmas”, how should i reply? Or should i ignore it and dont say anything?

ANSWER: One doesn’t need to change his/her name after converting. As for their religion in official documents, this is mandatory to change. He should approach them and ask them about the department in charge of that.
