ANSWER:

Do not waste your time talking to him about such things. Focus on inviting him to believe in the existence of Allah and not to associate others with Him and in the miraculous nature of the Quran. If this happens, everything would be clear to him. 

If you argue with him about small things in Islam, he will take you from one issue to the other such as music, polygamy, covering of women etc until you are tired and fed up! This is not the correct way to call them to Islam.
