Late comer joins me in Salah while I’m praying Sunnah – What to do? – Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem

I would like to ask you question about the priority of the 5 prayers. I am an employee and sometime my prayer cannot be on time due to ongoing meeting. Also when we have to attend a wedding or walimah, may we delay our prayer for sometime within the period if we are limited in time for tat particular activity/event.

ANSWER: You must not delay your prayers at all, and one is sinful for doing this, you must pray first and then do other worldly acts.

During studies, when it comes the time of prayer. I inside started feeling to minimize my prayer in order to save time for learning more of my books. Is this a waswas of shaytan. Bcz ever since I am getting this whisper I left reading my sunnah prayers. Am I sinful for this? Pl advise me

ANSWER: Yes, this is waswas from satan. Ignore these and pray as you normally pray and pray your sunnah prayers as well. If you listen to Satan and neglect the sunnahs, he will slowly crawl in and take you away from the fard as well. Don’t give in to his tactics!

brother this hadith below people use as evidence to show that rafayadaine was cancelled The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Why do you gesture with your hands as if they were the tails of restive horses? Rather it is sufficient for one of you to put his hand on his thigh then say salaams to his brothers to his right and left.”

ANSWER: This hadeeth is regarding pointing to the left and right when giving Salam at the end of the prayer and not when bowing and raising one’s head from bowing.

If I miss Fajr or Maghrib or Isha unwillingly due to sickness or work, will I have to pray them louder when I’ll make uo the prayer? Like I am supposed to pray the first two rakats of Fajr, Magbrib, Isha louder right? So when I make up the prayer, shall I pray louder as usual??

Is it makrooh for an individual to pray without a sutrah ?

After you go to the gym to work out and you are all sweat, can you perform salat at that state or one is supposed to take ghusl.

ANSWER: Sweat doesn’t invalidate the wudu or salah. You can pray in that state, however it’s not appropriate to go to the masjid smelling of sweat and disturbing others.

Someone asked about sunnah prayer you said that it should be 2+2 my question is that is it mandatory to pray 2+2 or we can pray 4 sunnah?

ANSWER: It is an issue of dispute and the safest is to pray it 2×2 as no one would say that you are wrong while if you pray it 4, the majority would say you are wrong for doing this.

Is it correct to make dua between the break in Friday Khutbah i.e when the Imam sits down briefly between the Khutbah

ANSWER: There isn’t anything prescribed to say during this time. One can make Duaa and can ask for forgiveness as well.

we need to pray everyday salat ul tawba or once in week or wen we r required to pray.is there any specific surahs to be read in this salaat.is it important to pray this salaat every human.
