I once had to travel after thuhr but just before asr started, the problem is I arrived after maghrib and had not prayed asr yet. If this happens again, and I cannot pray asr here after it begins, could I combine thuhr+asr 4 rakat each here at home before I leave, if I will arrive after maghrib?

ANSWER: You should have prayed asr on your way, on its time. You cannot combine prayers while you are still in your city limits.

A Dua made between the Adhan and the Iqamah is never rejected. Does this apply for women also? Should women give Adhan and make dua then?

ANSWER: Women must not give azaan. She can make dua after the Azaan has been called till she starts to pray the salah. She can give iqama.

I watched your video on youtube on rolling or folding clothing but I didn’t quite understand the pants above ankles ruling. If I keep my pants above my ankles at all times by rolling them or folding them do I have to unroll them before Salaah?

ANSWER: Your pants should not exceed your ankle within Salah or outside Salah. If you roll them before praying, this is ok as you are reducing the sin from 24 hours to 23 hours!

Is reading surah from a book in fard salah permissible?

Suppose in morning i left for travel & i reach back home around isha time. Can i shorten isha prayer on that particular day after reaching home?

ANSWER: Once you enter your city limits, you must pray in full.

May ALLAH have mercy on you.I am a non Arab and while praying I concentrate towards the fact that I don’t make any mistake by mispronouncing any word in fatiha. But this concentration has made my Salah a burden I m afraid to pray due to the fear of mispronouncing anything and then repeating that word again and again till im not satisfied that I said the word correctly.PLEASE HELP

My husband has stopped praying altogether and has bad company. I try to advice him but to no avail. He says he is better than most men as he doesn’t drink and doesn’t have any affairs. I tell him that i appreciate but you need to polish a bit more.There are so many habits of him that bother me a lot and his stubborness makes me bitter. What approach should i take as some advice me to leave him?

Sheikh,in masjid we have people going from the front of the ones who are praying, can you conform is it permissible to pass just ahead of the place of sujood or it should be a good distance of 2 or 3 saffs?

ANSWER: If they have put a sutra while praying, one must go beyond it but if they haven’t, one should go beyond their sujood position.

I want to ask sheikh whether the Aadhan requires any attention to be paid in listening or we can continue our work which we r doing paying no attention to aadhan?

ANSWER: Listening to the Azaan and answering it and making the dua after it is very rewarding and a highly recommended Sunnah, however if someone doesn’t do that, he’s not sinful.

Can we offer awabeen nafil prayer soon after the magrib 2 rakaat sunnah? How many rakaat awabeen should we offer?
