Shaikh the scholars have said it is not permitted to hang quranic verses as decoration as it is not the purpose and it is bidah. But some people argue that the kaaba is decorated with Quran verses and so are many mosques. What is the correct understanding?

ANSWER: Yes, it is not permissible to hang Allah’s Names or Quranic ayahs on the walls as it’s disrespecting Allah’s words and they were not revealed for decorative purposes. It’s not permissible to hang them even in haramain or any other Masjids.

There is a business investment we do here in Nigeria, you give the company money and they will be giving you a fixed amount monthly or yearly depending on what you choose. I asked them about what if there is a loss and they said they have taken it upon themselves to pay you , regardless. What is the ruling on this please.

ANSWER: It is not permissible to invest in such a business where they give a fixed amount, this is clear riba.

Is it permissible to accept gifts from non muslims on tjeir festivals like Christmas or Diwali? Is it Kufr?

ANSWER: No, this is not kufr. No problem in accepting halal gifts on kufr festivals, the prohibition is in participating in their gatherings and celebrations or wishing them or gifting them.

I brought online products but when they came they charged me only for one product while no money was taken for rest.so are rest products halal, i tried contacting but to no avail. It is to be noted that in past they have charged me more also few time, something a norm of most online store.so are the products halal for me to use eventhough i haven’t paid for them?

ANSWER: No, you must keep on contacting them to inform them of their mistake. If they say you can keep them as a gift, then there is no problem in using these products. Otherwise, you must value of it to poor Muslims.

ANSWER: No problem in using utensils that are plated with golden color and not real gold. The prohibition is in using real gold and silver vessels.

Is candle light protest allowed in islam. In kashmir our leaders promote candle light as a part of protest.

sheikh I want to know is it permissible to take pictures in Mobile phones and keeping them just for memories we aren’t sharing them with anyone I checked this question on Islam aq.info but my doubts are still unclear b’cz in one fatwa they said unless it is printed it is permissible but in other answers they said its not permissible.
