If a woman doesn’t have good relations with her in laws and doesn’t visit or talk to them BUT doesn’t stop her husband from maintaining his ties of kinship. So by not having anything to do with her in laws, will the woman get the sin of breaking ties of kinship? What kind of relations come under the category of breaking ties of kinship?

No, she is not sinful.

If the husband and wife argue, and the wife disrespects the husband and the husband disrespects the wife, are they both sinning the same or is the wife carrying more sin for being how she is towards her husband?

I don’t know! It depends on the situation and who is the aggressor.

Can i give my money to my mother and father for doing hajj. Is it permissible? ( I studied by my father’s money. He spent for me a lot).will I get reward from allah for this?

You can give them money if you wish to and you will be rewarded.

Is it necessary for me. to call my each maternal aunt individually or I can send a message to all of them in a group in watsapp once in two weeks. is it sufficient. Please note that talking to one or other of them individually may lead to unwanted discussion, which would take us further apart.

You should speak with them and not just message them.

Allhamdulillah I stopped listening to songs as I got to know more knowledge about its prohibition. so when I saw my sister listening to songs , I requested her not to then she back answered me saying you are not perfect so don’t try to correct me. Sheikh, is it only possible to correct when I am perfect?

Of course you can! Nobody is perfect and no one will be! Be kind to her and try to reach her heart, remember that you were there in her situation before Allah guided you! Tell her if a father smokes, does this mean he should allow his children to smoke as well?

Sheikh,I have a question please which is I used to committ this evil act of hitting my wife. Then I repented and swore that if i hit my wife again there will be divorce to her. My question is, if I hit her again would that count as an oath or would divorce count please? May Allah reward you.

It is an oath and one should not make such oath. You must fear Allah and not hit your wife. Allah will send to your daughter and sister someone who would treat them as bad as you do if young fear Allah and stop acting like an animal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzZ8rIx5miY

Do grandparents have to give gifts to their grandchildren equally like parents do?

This is recommended but not mandatory like a parent with his son or daughter.

I am the wali of my older sister and she is engaged. I never approved of this. My mother told me one day she was engaged. He is not Muslim but she says he wants to become Muslim. He lives with her and she doesn’t want me to be included in the wedding and my mother tells me to stay away from my sisters engagement. Would I be justified if I don’t attend the wedding? What should I do?

Her marriage is void without your consent and she can’t marry a non Muslim and she can’t be engaged to one! By doing this she is either a kafir or a fornicator! Your mother is in great danger as well for approving this.

Is it permissible for a man to live in a separate house with his wife if the man’s parents don’t want them to live separately?

It is his wife’s right to live in a separate house and so is his right! His obedience to his parents here is not mandatory!
