It is an oath and one should not make such oath. You must fear Allah and not hit your wife. Allah will send to your daughter and sister someone who would treat them as bad as you do if young fear Allah and stop acting like an animal!

Sheikh,I have a question please which is I used to committ this evil act of hitting my wife. Then I repented and swore that if i hit my wife again there will be divorce to her. My question is, if I hit her again would that count as an oath or would divorce count please? May Allah reward you.
