I wanted to ask I need some money from my parents as I want purchase a car and I’m struggling financially to afford it with what I have. But they say as parents they cannot support me parents tell others about me he asks for money which hurts me and they say only kids provide for parents , once we grow up parents don’t help their children’s. Are they right?

ANSWER: Praying for them is a good deed but it must not be connected to his prayers or before going to bed! Praying for them has no value if he is during the day an undutiful disobedient son!

My father does not follow the teachings of Islam. He is very rude and treats me horribly. What bothers me most about him is that he does not practice cleanliness. For example, he makes a mess (he doesn’t clean up his dishes after eating, he drops food on the kitchen floor, he cleans his hands using a cloth instead of water, he leaves his clothing & tea cups in the living room).
