QUESTION: My relatives living in USA told me that when they need any tools or devices(laptop, phone, watch) for a few days they buy them from a shop and after they are done using it those they return the tools to the shop getting a full refund. They also said that many people use clothes like this too. They all just use the stuff without really paying. Is that okay to do?

ANSWER: Of course not! This is cheating and Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said a person who cheats is not from among us and lying is a major sin! Only cheap people would do such heinous acts!

QUESTION: Am i sinful if i leave my lights on in my rooms even when i’m not in there ?

QUESTION: People trend to slander you and also slander those following the path of salafiyah which really makes me angry. I’m a layman and i mostly try to correct them and say them to fear Allah. What i have found is most of the time it doesn’t work and I’m wasting my time and i feel I’m corrupting my heart. Will i be sinful if i ignore them although i can refute them?

ANSWER: Completely ignore them and never respond to such people and move on. When dogs bark, it is not logical to fall on your hands and knees and bark back!

QUESTION: I have a friend, Allah has blessed him with more rizq than me, every time we get into a disagreement he belittles me and always refers to the fact how he is more successful than me and I am a ‘loser’. I know that he has been doing tax fraud for years. If I report him out of anger would I be sinful?

ANSWER: You are sinful because you are doing this out of spite and envy! You must cut off all communications with such an arrogant person and your friendship to him is toxic to you and dangerous to him as you are envious and can’t be trusted.

QUESTION: Sheikh, in 2013-14 i saw a girl from behind when she was crossing the road. And i was in autorickshaw. I didn’t see her face, but still when I saw her my heart started beating fast and I lost my conscious. Since then, I’m waiting and searching for her. Sheikh it is possible that Allah has chosen her as my wife?

ANSWER: This is authentic: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 112 Ibn ‘Abbas informed Ibn az-Zubayr, “I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.'”

QUESTION: Sheikh, some people wronged me. I’ve forgiven them. But some have tormented me so much that even after forgiving, I make dua to Allah so that HE does justice to me & decrees whatever punishment upon them HE thinks necessary. Is this kind of feeling appropriate or should I forgive & try to forget everything, thinking that Allah will satisfy me with rewards in the hereafter?

QUESTION: If a friend stops talking to me is it mandatory for me to try to talk to him?I mean I didn’t stop talking,So will I be sinful or only that person will be sinful?
