I know it’s not permissible to make fun of people even if it’s with friends but is posting funny pictures of our friends for fun memories permissible? ( this will be in an account with very limited followers most of whom will be acquainted to each other atleast and also be posted only with permission they’re usually called spam/private accounts)

ANSWER: If they don’t mind it, it’s OK, though it’s not appropriate, providing it’s only male pictures and their awrah is not exposed nor while them doing any haram things.

I want to get admitted to a good university to get a good job and earn. Also I have this intention that I’d make female friends there. In this case can I make dua to get into that university? I’m not specifically making dua to make friends. But thinking of job and education. Can I make dua to get into that university?

Sheikh, i heard Allah will not guide a person who does not ask for guidance. But alhamdulillah since 1 year I’ve been practicing islam to the best of my abilities. I’ve stopped listening to music, socialising with non mahram women, I’ve grown beard asper sunnah, i offer all 5 prayer. I didn’t ask for guidance but how did Allah guided me? If my husband is shouting on my mother in law in front of me with words like, “use your brain otherwise don’t irritate me, you are brainless and so our maternal relatives”, as his wife, what should i do? ANSWER: You must not say a word and simply not be in the same place and when he is in a good mood, talk about the major sin of being disrespectful to parents without taking his name, with diplomacy, wisdom and knowledge.

Sheikh I want to know whether in islam is only the husband allowed to get angry and burst out n shout at wife or the wife is also allowed to express her anger whenever he is wrong? I prayed jumuah and accidentally took someone else’s shoe which looked like mine. then i realized and i used the shoe for some days now I’m not using it anymore. and i tried to find the guy but didn’t find him. what should i do?

ANSWER: You shouldn’t have used it all these days! Go back to the masjid and try to see if he comes and brings your shoes. If not, give in charity the equivalent of the value of the shoe on his behalf.

If father doesn’t feel disrespected from something i did, which could be disrespectful islamically or in some cultures, am i sinful? For example he is backbiting and i try to defend someone or stop him from backbiting but he continues so i take a deep breath as if im frustrated etc.

ANSWER: Do not believe what they had said and conveyed to you about others talking behind your back as this is against the instruction of Allah. Deal with them normally and with good behavior as Allah will hold them accountable for their actions and He will reward you for your patience and tolerance.
