An elder brother has done a lot for younger brother but younger brother has never shown any gratitude towards the elder one and also has betrayed many times. Because of some occasion elder brother expects a gift from younger one but he doesn’t gift anything. Is it right to go forward and ask the younger brother that why he didn’t gift?

No, this is not the right way. One should have dignity and honor. Asking like this is humiliating. Besides, one should have done what he had done for the sake of Allah and not for anything in return.

There is a person who has just started learning about Islam, before he was not practising. From investigation and relatives he seemed good in religion and character, manners etc. Only thing I am worried about it is he follows Islamic posts of random men and women and has added them. Is this something to be concerned about?

If he is befriending women you should reconsider marrying such a man. But if these are Islamic sites and he is only benefiting without chit chatting, this is ok.

How can I repent from having bad/evil thoughts about women for example if a person was to imagine a woman in a inappropriate way, even if it’s someone you know. And those thoughts that a person gets of women, and when he ask Allah to forgive him and make Tawbah for those thoughts, would Allah expose him to the women On Yawm al-Qiyama for having such thoughts about her, even after he made tawbah?

You should fast voluntarily in order to control your nafs. As long as you don’t act upon these thoughts and you don’t talk to anyone about them and you try to fight them, Allah will not expose you or hold you accountable.

I’m very sensitive and I keep on worrying about what people think of me especially from my family, from my cousins and aunties. How can I stop being like this?

You should learn how to build your confidence and how to respect people with pride, fearing only Allah. Everyone else is a poor human being like you with strengths and weaknesses. Don’t look down at yourself and always remember that you are strong through Islam.

There are so many companies in KSA,joint ventures, like Pepsi Saudi Arabia, etc.Also many products of Israeli companies are available in KSA.Most of them are not made in Israel. Are the Saudis sinning if they are dealing ,with the companies n products of Israel. Is it a sin if we continue to use such products, or because they are joint ventures etc it is ok.

It is prohibited to deal with Israeli companies but it is permissible to deal with American companies!

Please advise a sister who is very depressed because she upsets her mother in periodic and strong arguments. She is experiencing a number of trials which become difficult at times so ends up in these situations unfortunately. She apologised, made taubah,given charity for her mum etc but feels this is not enough, cannot forgive herself and punishes herself.

Engage yourself in dhikr, reading the Noble Quran and don’t pay any attention to these thoughts! Also ask Allah’s protection and help as He is the One in control of everything!

My question is if i came to know that any muslim has commited a sin which nullifies islam and then i am telling him to say shahada again if he has not said.So does that mean that mean i am declaring takfeer on him?
