One said to me that laying legs to quran is not a good thing, so you should not do it. Is he is doing bida’ah right?, And if i tells him that he is doing bidah, how will i answer to him if he tells me that he is not doing innovation and says that this Ayah is what is his daleel” wa man yua’azzam sha’aaaaairAllaaahi fa innaha min taqwal qoloob” ?. How will i answer to him then?

ANSWER: There is nothing in the Quran and sunnah to prohibit this. However, if one’s feet are really close to the Quran, this is disrespectful. Pointing the feet towards the Quran is not prohibited or disrespectful if the Quran is far from your feet.

My relatives have created a WhatsApp group for completing quran. Their is one admin in the group who gives daily 10 to 15 aayats to recite. Everyone will recite it and send notification that they have completed recitation. Is this practice correct according to sunnah and sharia. Please update me on this.

ANSWER: This is not according to the sunnah and it is not appropriate as it defies sincerity.

I read somewhere that a father can force his daughter to wear Hijab. But if a girl does hijab under her dad’s compulsion,then won’t she be doing it for her dad rather than for God? I mean, mustn’t it come from the heart rather than from someone else? I mean there is no compulsion im religion right? I mean the dad is not being Ad Dayooth because he has done his part by advising strictly?

ANSWER: No.

Sheikh I know about the prohibition of men wearing any kind of jewellery or anything that beautifies them that contains gold, any form of gold. Yellow or white. Sheikh I wish to buy a belt which has a buckle made of brass and plated with palladium which is not elementally gold. Kindly do advise sheikh.

We know that WUZU is broken by 5 things.But not broken by smoking & drinking wine. Some people smoke & come to Mosque directly wdout cleaning their mouth & say that our WUZU is intact & not broken but v get pungent smell. How should v tell such people cuz they argue that their WUZU is not broken?

ANSWER: They are sinful for harming and annoying others with their smell. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam prohibited Muslims from attending the prayers in the masjid after consuming onions and garlic, which are halal in themselves.

As we all know many Sufi go to graveyards cemeteries or tombs to ask the dead to help them, ask them to protect or supplicate to do something for them though it’s totally prohibited to pray in these places and seek help from dead. Can these people be considered to be unbelievers?
