My grandfather has passed away, and his inheritance is with my father which hasn’t been yet divided. My only uncle lives in a separate country and he can’t come back. He keeps pushing me to request my father to settle the property. But my father doesn’t show interest and always keeps making excuses. I told my parents that this is wrong but they keep scolding me.

ANSWER: This is absolutely wrong and your father MUST distribute this property immediately. Your uncle can take your father to court to get his right by approaching his country’s embassy and filing an official complaint. Your father will be punished by Allah for preventing his brother from taking what Allah has given him.

Syeikh, how to do dua when sujood? , do we do it while reciting “subhanarabiyyal a’la” at the same time we thinking our wishes until enough? or we can recite our wishes in arabic after “subhanarabiyyal a’la” 3 times ? And it is same with sujood tilawah?

In our community it is tradition for girls from grooms side to go to brides home on Mehndirat along with cake, gifts. It is allowed to go there.

ANSWER: If this is common in Muslim community in your area and if it doesn’t have any hindu rituals then no problem, providing there is no free mixing between non mahrams at all, there is no music or any other haram thing involved. Otherwise it’s not permissible.

Here in Bangladesh there is a tradition that whenever 15 th of Shaban comes people offer extra worship,read the Quran,they all gather to engage in Dhikr and dua in masjids.People stay up all night to worship Allah.They say it’s a blessed night so we are offering extra worship.Are this all authentic and from the Sunnah?

Quick question: why is it hard for Muslims go establish prayer? I mean I know it’s hard to wake up for Fajr at times or most of time due to sleep but then why is it hard for Muslims to establish prayers in daytime when they awake? Some don’t have anything to do but still won’t pray. It’s only 5 minutes then y is it so hard when ppl work upto 16 hrs a day?

Allah has blessed me in the ways I deserve Alhamdullillah. However I dont believe this is the ultimate happiness. I prefer spending my time in ibadah reading Quran etc.. But when I do this people presume I am suffering in life or not as happy. And they are always trying to make me feel jealous by showing off about their life to a point i can’t take it anymore. ANSWER: Praying salah for the reward to reach your parents or for the protection of the family is absolutely not permissible as it’s an innovation. Everything good that your parents taught you, it’s reward would reach them automatically whenever you do that, including praying.

Is this hadith Authentic? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever recites Qul huwa Allaahu ahad ten times, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise. (Saheeh al-Jaami al-Sagheer, 6472).
