I was given a gift, it was ayatul kirsi. It has fancy writing with glitter on it. It is ment to be hung up on the wall. I know putting it up on the wall is disrespecting the Quran, so what to do? Should i burn it? Should keep it without putting it on the wall as it is a gift to me?

I am from Srilanka. At the moement there is a racisit movement aginst muslims as a result of the recent isis bomb blasts in my country. There is a popular accusation against islam saying that the martyer of muslims (the terorists) have sucide bombed as they will get 72 virgins in paradise. I am trying to find if it says so in Quran and if the number 72 is true. Im asking on behalf of my nation

ANSWER: It is authentic that martyrs will get 72 houris in paradise, but this hadeeth is just applicable on martyrs but not those who commit suicide bombs. Those who commit suicide bombing will go straight to hell for killing themselves and others and they are not martyrs!

My mother Curses me when she get angry. But when I listen her Dua in her Salah she makes lots of Dua for Us(children). Will Allah accept her Curse for me? Will her Dua affect in my life?

My board exams are being taken and my parents forbid me to fast strictly saying it’s obligatory for me to obey parents in Islam. Should I listen to them and make up the fasts later?

ANSWER: No, you must not obey them in this regard as obeying Allah takes precedence over anyone else. Diplomatically and with respect but firmly tell them you will have to fast as it’s mandatory and exams are not a valid reason to skip fasting. You must fast.

Is it permisssible to take my 6 year old relative to masjid for salah if he doesnt have wudhu or didnt really do it properly

ANSWER: No problem for children. However if he is going to annoy worshipers, you must not take him.

I have two mosques in my area.On friday in one mosque two adhaans are given and the imam gives 1st khutabah and sits on the minbar for a while & gives 2nd khutabah & iqaamah and then salah.In 2nd mosque 1 adhaan is given and imam gives only 1 khutabah while standing and iqaamah & then salah.Which one is acceptable acc. to sharia evidence.

ANSWER: The First masjid is following the sunnah and is correct! The second masjid Friday prayers is invalid according to some scholars for not giving two khutba.

Husband recently divorced her by written talaaq, and then took her back before the iddah period ended, by saying ‘I take you back’. ANSWER: No problem. You can dye with any color you want, providing you avoid black as it’s prohibited and avoid any other weird colors like blue, green, etc. This color should be medically safe to apply and it should not leave a layer rather it should just give a color after washing.

I recieved inheritance in 2015, i paid zakat on that, i invested that in builing houses for selling, i paid zakat in 2016/17 also, but in 2018 i didnt had any cash-as all my money was invested in houses, do i need to pay zakat for last 2 years or should i pay this year only. explain in detail.

ANSWER: Yes, as this investment is intended to sell and make profit, you must pay the zakat of these past two years by estimating how much the property was worth in the 1st year and then in the 2nd year and then you pay zakat accordingly.
