I m in a family where relation betweeen my father and mother is so much bad..here both of they do mistakes.sheikh as my father does more mistakes and i saw him bitting,saying bad words to my mom from my childhood i can’t say normally with my father. I try not to quarrel with him but i always remain in silent face which indicates i m not okay to him & i can’t change this anyway.is it permissible?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. They are accountable for their behaviour with each other. You are accountable for your behaviour and you are obliged to be courteous and polite to your father regardless of his sins.

Can we apply food items to our body and hair for health and beautification, then wash it in the bathroom? People believe that if we do that we will be cursed by the food and Allah.

Not daily, but just once after a very tired day, if I ask my husband to massage my feet, am I being disrespectful to him or degrading him? Is it allowed in Islam? Or am I sinful for asking such favors? I have this doubt because of the high status Islam has given a husband over a wife.

ANSWER: No problem in massaging the feet of a spouse.

While doing wudu(ablution) for the purpose of performing salat in bathroom, can we say “bismillah”? If not, in that case, can we say “bismillah” before entering bathroom so that it works like saying “bismillah: before wudu(ablution)?

ANSWER: You can say it before entering the washroom or you can say it in the washroom in your heart without moving your lips or tongue. You can skip it altogether as well because saying it before making wudu is not mandatory.

I’ve committed Zina multiple times even by knowing how strictly it is prohibited. Now I have regrets of my past actions. I belong to a well practicing family, seeing my brothers marrying pious women. I make dua’a for my forgiveness & Alhamdulillah I’ve changed now. My question is will Allah grant me pious partner if He has forgiven me or will I be punished with impious life partner for my past Zina actions ?

ANSWER: This is in Allah’s hands! Repent, ask Allah for forgiveness and do well and hope that Allah will grant you a good wife.

Sheikh my question is that when we are reciting or listening to a naat( a naat is a poetry that speaks well of Holy Prophet SAW) are we supposed to send blessing on prophet Muhammad SAW each time we hear his name? Because if we could then, reciting the naat becomes very difficult, and all the people I see reciting naat, they don’t send blessings when reciting it?

ANSWER: You have to recite the durood upon hearing the name of the prophet salla alaihi wasalam. Be careful as such naat may contain shirk when they exaggerate in praising the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam.
