Sheikh…can we invest in Wahed, an online shariah-compliant ethical investing platform backed by ….. ….. In this platform, we invest some money and the people working in Wahed invests our money in different halal stocks and gold ETFs. So, my question is it halal to invest in gold ETFs. Because the exchange is not happening on a hand to hand basis. Please briefly comment.

ANSWER: I don’t know about this company or their dealings. It is not enough to have celebrities endorsing it without actually knowing their true line of work and monitoring that through a sharia board supervising their day to day activities made of trusted scholars.

Can I go into day trading. Say this particular stock is increasing. Is it permissible for me to put my money into it and selling it within a couple hours. Keep in mind I am only dealing with stocks that are completely halal.

Shaikh In a village there is no ATM facility,so people transfer money from mobile using apps to one person(agent) (he does this for earning) and in place of that agent give cash to that person,so this person(agent) take some money 10 or 20 for giving them cash without going far place to get it,they either take 10 or 20 extra or they give them 10 or 20 less! what is the ruling?

ANSWER: This is not sufficient. The water must reach the whole length and all your hair including the scalp.

Despite my prayers for protection, i lost my money $1.8k while trying to help someone mother to pay hospital bill but it was scammed instead. Since the money does not come back to me, is that mean it’s not my rezki? What are best prayer to calm myself for losing the money. I felt so stupid

Is it authentic that adam,yunus a.s were forgiven on the day of ashoora? It was the day when isa a.s was lifted to heavens, idris got relieved from his disease,our Rasool s.a.w declared his prophecy on this day,Nooh a.s ship reached the shore, Ibrahim a.s got rid of namrud?? Is this authentic or true that all these events happened on 10th muharram i.e Ashoora?

ANSWER: This is all baseless!

I heard that surah baqarah and al imran will give shafa’ah in the judgement day. I started completing this 2 surahs each week Alhamdulillah from last Ramadan, i continued this way (though it is only 3 months) If i die today, will i get shafa’ah from these surahs?
