I wanted to know the permissibility to carry out an iftaar event of the community for the sake of Allah where there is one big hall. The men are on one side and the women are on the other. Sheikh, i heard Allah will not guide a person who does not ask for guidance. But alhamdulillah since 1 year I’ve been practicing islam to the best of my abilities. Our sheikh used to say it is makrooh to sleep after asr prayer, because Muhammad pbuh said that one can lose his reason and mind, but i find it to be daif. Is there any other basis to this? Why would someone go insane from sleeping after asr?
