QUESTION: Sheikh someone i know is a fan of the korean band BTS, she refrains to support them at times knowing it’s haram to do so. Can she pray to allah that he guides them to the straight path, they embrace islam and leave all haram things that they do ?

ANSWER: No problem in making dua for them while they’re alive. It’s not permissible to follow them as music is totally prohibited in islam.

QUESTION: There’s a festival in my school where there is free mixing, dancing, and singing. For service credit my friends want to join the backstage crew and help with the lights.
