QUESTION: I have a collection of Pokemon cards from before I began practicing Islam and they’re worth a large sum of money. Would the money from selling them be halal? I don’t want to profit from them, but I also don’t want to just give them away for free.

ANSWER: All simulations to animals in the Quran or sunnah were blames worthy whether in movements or postures in salah or in sounds of donkeys and the likes. Never it was mentioned in a praiseworthy manner. Besides, whoever imitates a people, he is from among them.
